The Coronation Stone, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey
According to tradition, this stone was used during the Ceremony of Coronation by Saxon Kings of England, who were crowned at Kingston-upon-Thames.
The stone plinth bears the names of the Kings, with the dates of their Coronation. Made of Greywether sandstone or sarsen, the Coronation Stone now stands to the right of the Guildhall in "High Street".
