Born in 1948 in Sudbury Hill, Middlesex, my earliest ambition was to pursue a career in fine art painting. But three years at art college resulted in a transition from the "Still" to the "Moving" image that led to a career in the film and TV industry, spanning more than thirty years. Recently, I have returned to depicting local scenes of historical architecture set in their own surroundings as well as landscapes. I use mainly pen, ink and watercolour with which I try to achieve a feeling of history by showing the wear and tear of time on views of local interest.
